EMET Consultants is also an accredited energy auditing organisation with the Institute of Engineers Australia, and the Australian Commonwealth Government: Enterprise Energy Auditing Program (EEAP) and AIRAH (Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating).
Our energy audits are very thorough and include detailed investigations of the performance, condition, and control of all significant energy using plant and equipment and we are proud that our energy audit reports have set the standard in the industry.
Our company is also independent of all market products and suppliers which ensures that we always provide totally impartial advice, and the extensive hand-on experience of each member of our energy auditing team ensures that the most practical and cost-effective solution is recommended for each efficiency problem.
Energy Performance Indices and BenchmarkingAs part of our companys extensive energy auditing activities, we have created a unique database of energy performance indices which are regularly used by both corporate and government organisations for benchmarking all types of energy use and for either individual consumers or whole market sectors.
These indices are based on the detailed profiles developed for several thousand individual buildings and industrial processes, and our database is the largest of its types currently available in Australia.
Typical Energy Audit ResultsOur energy audits typically produce savings of between 15% and 20% of client energy costs. However, much higher savings have been achieved in many individual cases, as shown in the following table.
