DEREGULATED ENERGY MARKET

The EMET team of professional engineers and energy managers possess a wealth of experience in all types of energy applications for commerce and industry, as well as their related energy sources, metering and data retrieval services, and deregulated market negotiating.

This extensive practical background gives EMET its competitive edge when negotiating ‘Best Price’ energy supply contracts for its extensive and varied clientele throughout Australia.

During the last ten years, for example, we have negotiated major contracts for several of our larger clients, namely the Westpac Banking Corporation, Lend Lease Property Management Australia, Health Insurance Commission, and the Universities of Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, and Wollongong.

The results achieved for these contestable client accounts in electricity cost reduction ranged from 20% to 44% over the previous 12 months, depending on individual energy consumption and operating factors.

We are continuously upgrading and expanding our deregulation services to keep pace with changing client needs. This includes the development of our ‘Enerprice’ software program, which normalises retailers’ tender offers; accurately evaluates their respective merits; and determines which retailer is offering the best and most competitive deregulated energy contract.
